SPA HOUSE KAWAMURA

This is the first time in a long time that we have renovated a local bathhouse. It is located in the same city, next to Katsura Onsen, which we designed.
The renovation work this time was mainly focused on functional maintenance work such as repairing deteriorated parts and converting lighting fixtures to LED. It was not a complete renovation in terms of branding design or so-called architectural design, but we set one highlight for the renovation in each of the men’s and women’s bathrooms.

The most distinctive feature of public baths in Misawa City, Aomori Prefecture is that they use natural hot springs. In the case of Spa House Kawamura, you can literally enjoy natural hot springs “as is” without adding water or heating. The usage fee is ¥400. Misawa is also a hot spring bathhouse paradise known only to those in the know.
